Next Limit participates in the static exhibition of the International Course “Technological innovation in policing” in Avila, Spain on November 2015. Attendees had the opportunity to visit us at our stand.
In February 2015 the SAFECITI project closed the first project period. The review meeting was organized in Brussels in the beginning of May.
The consortium started off with an internal preparation meeting on the 4th of May. On the 5th of May, the Consortium presented the progress and results to the Project Officer and experts from the REA. Representatives of all project partners attended. The project was positively evaluated by the reviewers and the Project Officer.
Esri organized a technical workshop at its office in Zurich, attended by Golaem, Griffin and Next Limit. The workshop was focused on the technical features needed to reach the first prototype.
Next Limit visited the 2014 I/ITSEC Conference in Orlando, FL (USA) with the purpose of presenting the research carried out in the frame of SAFECITI. I/ITSEC is the World’s Largest Modeling, Simulation, & Training Conference.
The Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC) promotes cooperation among the Armed Services, Industry, Academia and various Government agencies in pursuit of improved training and education programs, identification of common training issues and development of multiservice programs.
The Ethical Committee of SAFECITI had its first official meeting at Next Limit Headquarters in Madrid on 29th October 2014. The meeting was attended by the three Ethical Committee members and participants from Next Limit and the Spanish Police Department. The Committee discussed the ethical aspects of the project. The results of the meeting are included in the deliverable D1.1.
POLITO visited the Next Limit office in Madrid on 1st October 2014. The purpose of the meeting was to present the progress on the WP6 and to define the next steps related to the database and the predictive model.
